Bird on a Wire

Bird on a Wire was a shortlisted finalist in the 2009 Blake Prize. The video depicts a woman in the back bar of a pub in Cobar NSW at closing time. She sings along with the band as they recite the fifties rock and roll version of Ave Maria.

This work toured nationally as part of the Blake Touring exhibition in 2010.
